| 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM | Early Bird Session - "International ACH Transactions" Effective March 20, 2009, an amendment to the NACHA Operating Rules (Rules) will become effective that will (1) require ODFIs and Gateway Operators to identify all international payment transactions transmitted via the ACH Network as International ACH Transactions using a new Standard Entry Class Code (IAT); and (2) require IAT transactions to include the specific data elements defined within the Bank Secrecy Act's (BSA) "Travel Rule1" so that all parties to the transaction have the information necessary to comply with U.S. law, which includes the programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Conference Details
Admission: Both members and non-members are welcome.
Hotel: Minutes from downtown Birmingham, The Wynfrey Hotel is connected to the upscale shopping mecca Riverchase Galleria at 1000 Riverchase Galleria (www.wynfrey.com, 800-996-3739, or 205-987-1600). ALACHA has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $135. All reservations must be received by November 26, 2007. Call and book your room(s) today! Please mention you will be attending the ALACHA conference for the discounted rate.
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend, substitutions are welcome. If you cancel after December 7, 2007, 50% of the registration fee will be charged. Sorry, no refunds for those who do not attend.
Certification Credits: Attendance for the conference is eligible for up to 6.9 AAP credits (8.1 credits if the "Early Bird Session" is attended).
The conference is approved for up to 7 CTP/CCM recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals.
