Early Bird Session - "Treasury Management Essentials"
This session will cover the basics of Treasury management. We will discuss the purpose of Treasury Management and review the services used by corporations to achieve the results they desire. Time will be spent on the elements of risk and how to manage that risk. We will also cover Account Analysis billing for these services. The attendees should walk away with a good understanding of the generalities of Treasury Management.

Early Bird Session - "ACH Essentials"
Are you an ACH "newbie", or just want to know how all the pieces fit together. This session will cover ACH transaction flow from authorization through settlement, identification of the participants and the liabilities they assume for the various entry types. His presentation enlightens the audience on how criminals, fraudsters, scam artists and computer hackers have taken advantage of vulnerabilities and weak defenses to commit their crimes and what we can do to mitigate and prevent today's crime problems on a personal and business level.

In 2009, NACHA's voting members were asked to cast their votes on two specific amendments to the NACHA Operating rules that directly impact how exception item processing will be handled. Both the Authorization and Returns Ballot and the Stop Payments and Regulation E Ballot were approved. Attendees will learn how the Written Statement has again morphed, how to implement a Stop Payment and for how long.

Admission: Both members and non-members are welcome.

ALACHA has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $144. All reservations must be received by November 23, 2009. Call and book your room(s) today! Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend, substitutions are welcome. If you cancel after December 4, 2009, 50% of the registration fee will be charged. Sorry, no refunds for those who do not attend.

Certification Credits: Attendance for the conference is generally eligible for up to 6.3 AAP credits (7.5 credits if the "Early Bird Session" is attended).

The conference is generally approved for up to 7 CTP/CCM recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals.
